We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director, People Operations to lead our HR operations and ensure a seamless, world-class employee experience. This role is pivotal in rebuilding and enhancing the operational infrastructure needed to support our company's rapid growth. You will own the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and be responsible for scaling existing programs and creating new ones that allow our people to thrive.
Reporting to the VP of People, you will serve as a key partner to leaders across the organization, providing guidance and data-driven insights to inform our people strategy. This is a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation for a People Operations function in a high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do- Lead People Operations: Oversee all core HR functions, including payroll, benefits, HRIS management, compliance, and employee data management.
- Scale the Employee Lifecycle: Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes for every stage of the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Partner with senior leadership to translate business objectives into people-centric strategies. Lead and execute initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency, employee engagement, and retention.
- Leverage Data: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, diagnose operational issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the organization.
- Manage HR Systems: Act as the primary owner of our HRIS and other people-related technologies, ensuring data integrity and optimizing system functionality.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on People Operations, ideally in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
- Expertise: Proven expertise in HR operations, systems, and processes. Deep knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Strategic Mindset: A track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives that directly support business goals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.

- Base Salary: $160,000-$175,000
- Bonus Opportunity: 20%
