Role Overview for Director of Operations:
As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, optimising and scaling our core operations. You will spearhead efforts to streamline processes, foster cross-functional collaboration, and develop strategies that drive efficiency and growth. Your role will be crucial in aligning our operational practices with the broader vision of the company, helping us build a sustainable and impactful spiritual tech platform. What You'll Do:
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and growth goals.
- Operational Excellence: Building systems and processes to create a habit of operational excellence across the operating teams that translates into high NPS.
- Process Innovation: Identify bottlenecks, design scalable processes, and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
- Team Building and Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data insights to inform operational decisions, optimise performance metrics, and drive sustainable growth.
- Vendor and Partnership Management: Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment with operational objectives and enhance service delivery.
Who You Are:
- A strategic leader with a proven track record of managing operations in dynamic, high-growth environments, and building high-performing teams.
- Passionate about process innovation and implementing efficient systems that drive growth.
- Data-driven, using analytics and insights to make informed decisions and accelerate success
- 8+ years of experience in operations management, with 3-4 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience scaling operations for a consumer-tech startup or a rapidly growing D2C company.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for project management, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
