The Role

Responsibilities:

  • This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on the ground, motivates teams, and delivers real impact.

  • Lead all site operations to meet and exceed KPIs in productivity, quality, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction

  • Build and maintain an effective operations management system grounded in Lean and GROWTTH® principles

  • Deliver on the site’s Annual Operating Plan, aligning with broader business goals

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring the right skills, behaviours, and mindset are in place

  • Drive site-level engagement, resolve people issues proactively, and promote a positive, accountable team culture

  • Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (HS&E, QMS)

  • Oversee capital projects that support current operations and future growth

  • Lead the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies into manufacturing

  • Maintain high standards in safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline

  • Travel occasionally (up to 20%) as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s degree is advantageous)

  • 10+ years’ progressive experience in medical device and/or healthcare product manufacturing, including 7+ years in a senior leadership role

  • Proven track record leading engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment

  • Strong experience with Annual Operating Plans, including budgeting, capital planning, and execution

  • Skilled in developing cross-functional teams and building organizational capability

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles; hands-on Lean experience highly desirable

  • Proficient in SAP ERP systems and comfortable operating in a data-driven, KPI-focused culture

  • Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 13485:2016, and best-in-class housekeeping practices
