As the Director of Operations for the In-District Services Program at River Rock Academy, you will lead operational excellence across multiple district locations, ensuring schools have the resources, systems, and support needed to provide high-quality educational services. Through strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will help create safe, efficient, and compliant learning environments that empower students and support school teams.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field

  • Five years of operations experience in a school or district setting, including at least three years in a leadership role

  • Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and communication skills

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with district partners and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to travel regularly to district locations throughout Western Pennsylvania

  • Ability to support emergency response activities, including crisis intervention and facility safety when needed

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily operations across multiple In-District Services sites, including staffing, scheduling, logistics, facilities, transportation, and resource allocation

  • Ensure compliance with district policies, regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures while driving continuous improvement

  • Supervise and develop operational staff through onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management

  • Partner with district leaders and internal teams to align operational priorities with instructional and program goals

  • Monitor operational performance through site visits, reporting, and data analysis while supporting emergency preparedness and additional responsibilities as assigned
