Summary

Moxe is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to join our team! The Director of Operations, Release of Information has an overall responsibility to ensure our facility customers have the highest standard of service, that all required Release of Information (ROI) implementations are successful and that daily tasks are performed in a consistent, timely, and highly professional manner. The Director of Operations acts as the primary point of contact for Release of Information customers and Moxe Operations Managers and supports the Moxe culture, goals and company mission, working closely with other Moxe leaders to implement processes that will ensure employee, facility and company goals are met. 

Responsibilities

Organizational Leadership

  • Set the tone and vision for the staff and facilities, leading with compassion and respect, while helping to formulate our Technology First release model.
  • Organize, lead, and participate as needed in client meetings to ensure existing programs and services meet and/or exceed customer expectations. 
  • Lead a team of Operations Managers as well as Digital Release Specialists to achieve Service Level commitments.
  • Manage implementations, hire staff, train staff, set policy and process guidelines, organize daily processing queues for the team 
  • Partner and work with both Operations Managers and the Digital Release Specialists to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
  • Establish site-specific goals for the team and monitor objectives with key results for each team member.

Staff Leadership

  • Hire and retain Operations Managers and Digital Release Specialists, provide clear direction and accountability, provide coaching and mentoring, maintain Moxe’s core values and culture, including servant leadership balanced with a performance mindset.
  • Daily onsite coverage, if applicable, and the arrangement for backup coverage if required.
  • Manage time and attendance schedule, ensure company standards are maintained.
  • Meet Service Level Agreement turnaround time and quality standards for release of information; also includes maintaining updated policies.

Client Satisfaction

  • New client implementation and customized project management to meet client needs.
  • Scheduling and/or attending calls and timely response communication with Client and internal Moxe leadership including review and follow-up to daily report management.
  • Maintain process instructions and update as needed along with performing ongoing client specific training with associates.
  • Monitor production and respond to facility questions. 

Production Management

  • Assist in the development of annual budgeting and OKR planning as required.
  • Review, analyze, understand, and improve daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial performance with respect to revenue, expenses, profits and contribution margins.
  • Continually seek new opportunities to advance Moxe market presence. 

Class Leading Client Satisfaction

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Help grow new and existing client business.
  • Coordinate with Operations Managers and Senior Vice President to ensure customer satisfaction and class leading service.

HIPAA/Compliance

  • Maintain privacy of all patient, employee and facility information. 
  • Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations.
  • Report unethical, fraudulent or unlawful behavior or activity.
  • Maintain current and annual HIPAA certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and or prior relevant experience
  • Servant leadership skills, team-oriented
  • High proficiency in Epic, Cerner, Meditech and Athena systems
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • Superior communication skills
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner
  • Travel as needed to support business goals

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. of materials
  • Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to effectively communicate
  • Eye/hand coordination, hearing and visual acuity necessary for day-to-day tasks
