Compensation: Starting 110,000/yr
Schedule: Full Time, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday- Friday (on call availability)

Brandon Wilde is looking for an experienced DON that brings compassion, professionalism, and strong skills to work every day. The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the twenty-four-hour nursing care of all residents through the performance of the nursing personnel. This position is responsible for providing a “system of care” for residents in a manner and environment that promotes maintenance or enhancement of each resident’s quality of life and provides dignity and respect in full recognition of each resident’s individuality.
- Lead and oversee all nursing operations for the Health Center and residential apartments.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and LCS standards.
- Direct staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to ensure appropriate 24-hour nursing coverage.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop nursing team members.
- Oversee employee orientation, annual performance evaluations, and ongoing education programs.
- Coordinate resident care with physicians, therapists, hospice, home health, private duty providers, and other healthcare partners.
- Supervise resident assessments, care planning, restorative nursing programs, admissions, and clinical outcomes.
- Oversee Medicare documentation, MDS completion, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain nursing licensure compliance and ensure adherence to corporate policies, HIPAA, and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams through visible, hands-on leadership.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and exceptional resident care.
- Serve as the clinical leader for the community and act on behalf of the Administrator when needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. GA RN License
- Two years experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing. Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred. Minimum of two years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long term care setting. NADONA certification a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency.

Skills Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Georgia RN license
