Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Are you a passionate nursing leader looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-established skilled nursing community? We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our 82-bed skilled nursing facility in Fremont, Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful facility with a strong reputation, stable operations, and the support of an experienced Administrator. The building currently maintains a healthy census and offers specialized services including a ventilator unit and memory care/dementia unit.
What You'll Do- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Drive quality outcomes and resident satisfaction initiatives
- Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident care
- Monitor clinical systems, infection prevention, documentation, and quality measures
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident-centered care
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence and quality resident outcomes
- Well-performing facility with strong leadership support
- Seasoned and supportive Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in place

Skills Required
