Orchid is seeking a Director, National Partnerships to join our growing team in Tampa or Vero, Beach FL!
The Director, National Partnerships, leads the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers. This position is responsible for achieving and executing assigned strategic account objectives and will work closely with stakeholders across Orchid to deliver high quality service.
How You Will Contribute:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel of our network of partners, cultivating strategic relationships within high-level meetings.
- Leads account planning cycle and ensures relationship needs/expectations are met by the company.
- Executes initiatives that involve direct execution or coordination within the Orchid enterprise.
- Requires forethought and knowledge to account for complex setups to optimize relationship opportunities; ensuring structure is manageable and scalable; coordination will vary from simple to very complex.
- Works independently but knows when to involve others. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Requires perseverance to work on long sales cycles via prospecting and networking.
- Works to set premium goals with each strategic relationship/network.
- Communicates results regularly with strategic account management to maximize incentive opportunities.
- Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis of strategic relationships. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Works closely with partnership networks to identify agency representation gaps/needs.
- Travel from time to time with Agency Development Managers to stay abreast of market opportunities and relay pertinent information accordingly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- Four-year college degree or minimum 5+ of strategic sales experience within the P&C industry.
- Proven track record of managing national or enterprise-level accounts and building long-term strategic relationships.
- Ability to pivot from high C-level discussions to ensuring that operational functions are being completed.
- Mastery of Orchid regional management position. Must know and understand the Orchid organization inside and out.
- Ability to take an opportunity, translate it to actionable and manageable items, and execute.
- The ability to lead and delegate, when necessary, but willingness to roll your sleeves up and work closely with all business units to resolve issues, which can be substantial with some relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience in reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to travel as needed to support relationship development and market insights.
- This position requires routine travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
