Leverage technology, processes, and Manufacturing Execution domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within the MES program for GE Vernova businesses.
Act as the Site leader to drive the plant's digital transformation journey. In that role, coordinate the deployment projects of our standards and bridge site needs with the DT teams.
For MES, ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, and of the desired quality. Define MES implementation, execution standards and deployment package to be followed by all project managers, business analysts within the program or department. Provide DevOps teams with technical and architectural expertise.

In This Role, You Will
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As MES Program Director, devotes 80% of the allotted time for program-related tasks and activities.
- Continue the deployment of Hermes across all Business lines of Electrification
- Support the Electrification robotization program, accelerated by Hermes and its satellite applications, a key lever for our business growth.
- Drive technology discussions and strategy in line with business and site needs.
- During Merge and Acquisitions, lead manufacturing execution domain decision to revisit the domain strategy and supporting pillars.
- Secure MES Program funding and handle the PO process.
- Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying MES requirements.
- Define execution plans and approaches based on project scope, expected timeline, and available budget/resources.
- Facilitate the convergence of functional and technical knowledge.
- Work with technical teams, often comprising members of separate organizations, to coordinate day-to-day execution as per the outlined plan.
- Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required.
- Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary.
- Support the execution team with the resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables is verified and matches stakeholder expectations.
- Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service levels.
- Ensure lessons learned are collected.
- As Site IT Leader, devotes 20% of the allotted time for Site IT program & projects-related tasks and activities.
- Coordinate with site Departments (production, maintenance, ..) to understand their IT needs and suggest appropriate solutions. Feed App teams with site requirements.
- Drive deployment roadmap of pillars, ensuring a wide adoption on site and satisfaction on site
- Lead projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee IT Infrastructure: Manage and maintain the plant's IT systems, including servers, networks, and hardware to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Support Production Systems: Ensure that all production-related IT systems are functioning correctly and provide timely support to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). A Master's degree or an MBA is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in IT project management, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Minimum 4 years of MES Implementation experience with integration of both SAP & Oracle ERPs.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience of managing cross-functional IT teams in different time zones.
- Experience working in manufacturing, operations execution, and shopfloor environments.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Advanced level in both written and spoken English.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP, Agile Leadership, or related Project Management certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of SAP Production Planning functional expertise must – Drive pre-study sessions to align /define plant SAP PP structure (Workorder, Routing, BOM, Control Key logic, OP Confirmation) against MES configuration and ensure smooth MES implementation. Plan / secure global footprint. Drive MES-SAP PI integration (understanding and architectural review of SAP IDOC structure) on MES inbound and outbound communication.
