This role is part of the Canada Leadership Team, reports directly into MDS NA and dotted to the Canada BU President.
You partner with functions and business units to develop roadmaps and to plan agreed-to outcomes. In this role, you ensure that commitments are met, and serve as the point of contact for Mondelēz International Digital Services.
How you will contribute:
You will be the lead contact for the defined processes used by the shared services team and/or third-party suppliers. In this role, you will drive internal and external continuous improvement initiatives to introduce external insights and best practice experiences. In addition, you will lead projects, business consultancy efforts and operational processes, ensuring that key performance indicators and performance management targets are met and that best practices are shared.

Job specific requirements:
- Define and lead Digital Vision, Strategy and roadmap implementation for the BU. Single MDS point of accountability to drive digital agenda in partnership with BU leadership team
- Understand business drivers, be the steward for organization Data at the leadership level and ensure appropriate governance and follow-through in managing and protecting data assets
- Champion Digital Transformation and adoption of data and insights driven culture, foster a community of digital champions across the BU, partnering on building digital capabilities. Partner with HR head to elevate Digital capabilities across different levels in the organization. Champion data-led thinking to evolve Analytics and AI/ML capabilities
- Accelerate adoption of digital and data products value extraction
- Provide thought leadership on a market level, and be a key influencer and partner with global team in service of the BU. Work with other BU MDS leads and functional experts in the global digital organization to ensure prioritization and delivery of Canada BU agenda
- Maximize Synergies with NA MDS team to scale up identified solutions globally and at NA level
- Consolidate various technology services delivered by global teams and ensure they land well and enable BU growth strategy
- Manage the annual BU budget planning, and partner with business leads to determine trade-offs to maximize return on investment and allocation of resources
- Lead and direct vendor/ agencies for local/ legacy solutions including Websites, apps and local sales solutions
- Coach business teams in running proof of concepts and experiments with new tech with the right guardrails
- Guide recommendations for infiltrating new and emerging platforms and charter first-time, innovative tactics to create best-in-class digital experiences for all key stakeholders - employee, customers and consumers
- Partner with head Legal in driving greater cyber security and data privacy practices
- Stay connected with external industry and internal global teams to bring outside-in views and benchmarks on Digital/ Technology trends
Education / Experiences:
- BE/MBA Degree
- Tech leadership roles - CTO, CIO. Has experience in running large enterprise wide IT projects and leading technology in business projects
- Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing technologies
- Experience in 2 of 3 business functional domains in CPG: Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain

Hybrid, M-F from Toronto Head Office
Salary and Benefits:
The expected base salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement (based on performance and company results), and a long term incentive program.
