Our client, a rapidly growing, national business headquartered just north of Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a talented Director of Marketing to lead and scale its marketing function.
The Director of Marketing plays a pivotal role on the leadership team and is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement across both B2B and B2C channels. This leader blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, data-driven decision-making, and people leadership.
This is a critical leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership.

The Director of Marketing will:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives across B2B and B2C segments
  • Oversee all marketing functions including branding, digital marketing, product marketing, content, PR, events, and lead generation
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Operations to align messaging, targeting, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient use of resources to maximize ROI
  • Oversee employer branding efforts and coordinate with the leadership team to support a consistent voice across the organization
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints
  • Track KPIs and marketing performance metrics and report results to senior leadership
  • Drive trade show and event strategy, including planning, logistics, and lead capture
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships as needed
The Ideal Director of Marketing will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success in both B2B and B2C marketing, preferably in manufacturing and/or service industries
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, CRM systems, and marketing technologies (SEO/SEM, email, social, CMS)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities
  • Creative mindset paired with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience launching new products or services  is a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO platforms and technical or industrial product marketing preferred
