Job Summary

We are looking for a visionary and results-driven leader to spearhead marketing, demand generation, and strategic growth initiatives at T2 Systems a Verra Mobility company. Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Marketing & Strategy will shape and execute integrated marketing programs, strengthen brand presence, accelerate pipeline growth, and identify new avenues for both organic and inorganic expansion.

The ideal candidate brings a proven ability to craft and implement high-impact marketing strategies, elevate brand equity, deepen customer engagement, and drive transformative growth. In this role, you will oversee all facets of marketing—including digital, content, product marketing, and market research—while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with T2’s business objectives. Additionally, you will lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and develop new growth engines that position T2 Systems for long-term success.


Key Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & Funnel Growth

  • Build and execute a comprehensive demand-generation strategy to drive qualified leads and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Optimize the marketing funnel from awareness through conversion, leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance.
  • Deploy multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, email, paid media, ABM) to maximize reach and engagement.

Product Launch & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, leading agile sprints to validate and scale expansion initiatives.
  • Partner with product and sales teams to ensure successful launches and adoption.

Customer Engagement & Retention

  • Design and implement digital customer nurturing programs to strengthen relationships and increase lifetime value.
  • Build and manage digital communities and engagement platforms to foster loyalty and advocacy.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and drive initiatives to improve NPS and overall experience.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across demand gen, digital, content, and product marketing.
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure ROI through rigorous performance tracking.
  • Implement marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics tools for campaign optimization.
  • Define and align on KPIs, pipeline forecasts, and overall progress toward revenue targets.
  • Partner with sales, finance, product, and operations to align marketing with business objectives.
  • Ensure marketing compliance, brand integrity, and governance

Strategic Growth Initiatives

  • Oversee market research and customer insights to identify trends and priority markets for strategic focus.
  • Identify and develop new growth engines, including partnerships, vertical expansion, and M&A opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify M&A targets, build business cases, lead commercial due diligence, and support integration planning.

Success Metrics

  • Pipeline Growth: Measurable increase in qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Improved NPS and retention rates.
  • Market Expansion: Successful product launches and entry into new markets.
  • ROI: Demonstrated efficiency and impact of marketing investments.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, STEM, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Proven success in demand generation, funnel optimization, and driving measurable pipeline growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch products, execute go-to-market strategies, and expand into new markets.
  • Track record of improving customer engagement and satisfaction through nurturing programs, digital communities, and loyalty initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, paid media, social, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce), and analytics tools.

Strategic Acumen:

  • Experience developing business cases for growth initiatives, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
  • Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies that deliver measurable results.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Skilled in leading high-performing teams and collaborating across sales, product, finance, and operations.
  • Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions.

  • Data-driven, analytical, and adaptable with a strong bias for action in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
