About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

Our mission is clear: reduce violent retail crime by 50% in 5 years. It's an ambitious goal - and one we believe is achievable. In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact - whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

This is Auror's most senior marketing presence in the UK and tip of the spear for EU expansion It's equal parts strategy and sleeves-rolled-up execution.

You'll set the regional marketing direction, build the programs, and then go and deliver them. You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with UK Sales to drive pipeline, expand Auror's brand in the retail and law enforcement community, and make things happen without waiting for someone else to hand you a playbook.

The best version of this person thinks like a CMO and executes like a meticulous project manager. They're as comfortable presenting a regional strategy to the leadership team as they are on-site at a tradeshow, making sure everything runs perfectly.

Responsibilities

UK Marketing Strategy Set the regional marketing strategy in alignment with Auror's global direction and the UK regional leaders. You'll own the priorities, manage the regional calendar, and make smart calls about where to invest time and budget, then execute against the plan yourself.

Pipeline Contribution Work in close partnership with UK Sales to drive qualified pipeline. You'll design and run the campaigns and programs that generate demand and move opportunities forward, directly alongside the teams who own the number.

Events Own the UK events program from strategy through to on-the-ground execution. You'll work with sales to select the right conferences and tradeshows, manage external suppliers and agencies where needed, and get hands-on when it counts. Auror's presence at every event reflects directly on you.

UK Marketing Campaigns Build and run UK-specific campaigns in close coordination with the global demand generation team and global campaign manager. You'll localise intelligently, push back when global doesn't fit the UK context, and ensure every campaign is earning its place in the pipeline.

Brand and Market Presence Build upon Auror's reputation as the category leader in UK & EU retail crime intelligence. You'll protect brand standards across every touchpoint and actively build our presence in the markets that matter, both retail and law enforcement.

Sales, CS and Comms Partnership Be the go-to marketing partner for UK Sales and Communications. That means showing up in their world, understanding what's blocking the pipeline, and building programs that directly move the needle for them.

This role reports to Heather Gadonniex, CMO

I’ve spent the last two decades helping growth-stage companies find their focus, align their teams, and build go-to-market systems that scale without losing their magic. I’m an operator and builder by nature, and I love co-creating clarity with teams and setting a high bar for performance and purpose.

I’m passionate about helping marketing teams become market makers and revenue engines, not just service departments. I’m also a big believer in unifying cross-functional teams around a common vision and operating cadence, maintaining collaboration and strengthening culture as we grow. At Auror, I’m excited to recruit team members that thrive in collaborative environments and want to play a critical role in shaping our next chapter of our growth.

Outside of work, I spend my time on our intergenerational family vineyard wrangling two boys, enjoy a slow-food meal paired with good wine and good people, and attempting to get my daily dose of mindfulness and exercise through yoga and pilates.
