What You'll DoEpic Games is looking for a Director, Lifecycle Marketing to lead the marketing vision and strategy for how we engage players across all of Epic’s 1st party games. You’ll oversee a multidisciplinary team spanning Lifecycle Strategy, Activation, and Operations, and partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Tech teams to bring that vision to life. You’ll drive scalable, data-driven programs that enhance player acquisition, engagement, and retention globally.
In this role, you will- Own the lifecycle strategy across key surfaces, using behavioral and predictive capabilities to sustain player engagement.
- Develop player journey frameworks that unify Lifecycle surfaces to provide a personalized experience for our players.
- Deliver measurable gains in engagement and monetization through experimentation, insights, and continuous optimization.
- Enhance our messaging strategy with automated, data-driven messages tailored to player behavior, interests, and engagement; boosting retention, relevance, and impact.
- Use automation and stronger frameworks to scale campaign planning, execution, and measurement; tightening workflows, improving documentation, enforcing schedules, and optimizing capacity so teams can focus on creativity and strategy.
- Unify lifecycle communications across the FN ecosystem to create a cohesive narrative that boosts engagement, strengthens brand equity, and readies the team to adapt to any business and consumer needs
- Expand team capabilities and infrastructure to scale a programmatic lifecycle model by driving personalization, faster learning, and consistent business impact.
- 10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, product management, or growth marketing, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or fast moving consumer tech.
- Proven track record building or scaling growth platforms (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, experimentation) that drive measurable user engagement.
- Deep understanding of player lifecycle, retention, and performance optimization across owned and paid channels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross disciplinary teams and manage complex initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Passion for games, technology, and building systems that create meaningful consumer/player experiences.
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA).

Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
