We're looking for a Director of Investment & Strategy to take the lead on high-impact transactions and help shape Renewa's investment direction. This is a senior seat at the table — you'll own deals end to end, influence how we deploy capital, and serve as a strategic thought partner to firm leadership. Deal Origination & Execution
- Lead the full deal lifecycle — from sourcing and structuring through due diligence, term negotiation, and close.
- Originate and execute land and structured investment transactions across target energy and infrastructure verticals.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities through proactive market engagement.
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Build and stress-test financial models for complex investment structures.
- Conduct rigorous due diligence across technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory dimensions.
- Prepare Investment Committee materials, portfolio reports, and Board-facing analyses with clarity and conviction.
Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Contribute to firm-wide investment strategy, portfolio construction, and capital deployment thesis.
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify value creation and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Operate as a senior thought partner to firm leadership on strategy, market positioning, and investor relations.
Relationships & Market Presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, IPPs, utilities, operators, and other key counterparties.
- Represent Renewa credibly across industry events, counterparty meetings, and capital markets conversations.
- 7–10+ years of experience in energy/infrastructure investing, project finance, or investment banking.
- Deep commercial acumen with the ability to structure creative solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Direct experience with land structures — ground leases, easements, and options agreements — strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with power and renewables markets, offtake structures, interconnection, and project development cycles.
- Self-starter who can operate independently and move deals forward without hand-holding.
- Low ego, high output — someone who cares about the work, not the title.
Skills Required
- 7-10+ years experience in energy/infrastructure investing, project finance, or investment banking
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience leading full deal lifecycle: sourcing, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and close
- Familiarity with power and renewables markets, offtake structures, interconnection, and project development cycles
- Direct experience with land structures (ground leases, easements, options agreements)

- Ability to prepare Investment Committee and Board-facing materials with clarity
