Our Director of Internal Audit is responsible for managing and directing the audit team and supporting the Vice President of Internal Audit. They provide analysis, recommendations, and insight over business processes, promoting effective governance, risk management, control, and sound business practices through independent risk-based assurance and consulting services.

Passionate about risk, internal controls, and data analysis, the key accountabilities for the Director of Internal Audit include developing a Data Analytics strategy (including upskilling the team with enhanced data skills), internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), performing operational risk audits, audit planning, and team leadership and development.

If you’re great at:

  • Working with data, showing a curious, forward-thinking data mindset

  • Planning, organizing, and managing multiple demands

  • Collaboration across business units

And you have:

  • 5-10 years of internal/external audit experience

  • A CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, and internal audit or risk certifications are an asset

  • A strong understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards and control frameworks

  • SOX knowledge and experience

  • Experience in operational risk audit

  • Strong data acumen and inquisitiveness
