Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Innovation and Technology to lead technology transition initiatives, manage tech inventory, and drive the deployment of automation solutions, including AI/Gen AI, to enhance internal productivity. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of successful technology implementation and impact on operational efficiency. The Director will oversee a team of professionals and work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless integration of innovative technologies that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology transition initiatives to modernize systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee technology inventory management to optimize resources and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Spearhead the deployment of automation solutions to enhance internal productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of AI/Gen AI technologies, leveraging cutting-edge tools to improve process automation, decision-making, and workforce enablement.
  • Establish and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and enhances internal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements in workflows and business processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the successful execution of technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline while delivering measurable business impact.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that support organizational objectives and drive a culture of efficiency and technology adoption.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on innovation, automation, AI/Gen AI, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technology transition initiatives with measurable success in improving internal productivity.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing automation solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/Gen AI applications in business environments and experience deploying AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex technology projects from conception to execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with a focus on efficiency and quality management.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices in digital transformation and automation.
  • Certifications in AI, Automation, Project Management (PMP), or IT Management are a plus.
