Director of Human Resources
As the Director of Human Resources at Blackbaud in Hyderabad, India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our HR strategy to support our growth and expansion in the region. This high-impact role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in HR management, talent acquisition, and organizational development. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with Blackbaud’s global objectives and supports the company’s growth in India.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address HR needs, including workforce planning, resource forecasting, and talent management.
• Create and implement HR policies and procedures that are tailored to the cultural and regulatory environment in India, ensuring they align with Blackbaud’s global standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related matters, fostering strong relationships and addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition leadership to support innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber professionals across all levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects Blackbaud’s values.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and professional development programs.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate HR processes and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local educational institutions, industry groups, and community organizations to enhance Blackbaud’s employer brand and support talent acquisition efforts.
• Implement robust performance management systems that provide regular feedback, support employee growth, and align individual goals with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure the safety and well-being of employees during emergencies or unforeseen events.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on HR metrics, progress, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
• Stay informed of industry best practices and continuously refine HR processes.
• Support organizational change initiatives and manage through periods of growth and ambiguity.
• Navigate and manage both matrix and direct reporting relationships to ensure clear communication and alignment.
What You’ll Bring:
• Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with a focus on talent acquisition and organizational development.
• Track record of building a startup site for a global capability center (GCC).
• Proven experience in HR leadership roles within the SaaS or technology sector. • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws in India.
• Demonstrated ability to manage international recruitment dynamics and collaborate with global teams.
• Experience in building and leading HR teams, including recruiters and HR specialists.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive and motivate teams.
