The Role
Entegris is currently seeking a Director, Growth Strategy, to join our MS Business Operations team. The location for this position is flexible, but would ideally be based at one of our MS sites in Aurora, IL, Burnet, TX, or Danbury, CT.
As the Director of Growth Strategy, you will serve as a strategic leader focused on evaluating the effectiveness of investments across the division. Partnering closely with R&D, product development, and business unit leaders, you will develop and apply robust models to assess the ROI, risk, and long-term value of initiatives. Your core mission is to ensure that the division is investing its dollars most effectively by providing data-driven insights that guide resource allocation, portfolio prioritization, and strategic decision-making.
You will lead division‑level portfolio management by setting strategic direction, establishing a scalable and rigorous management process, and ensuring clear communication, strong organizational discipline, and effective decision‑making across the portfolio. You will lead efforts that enable profitable growth for the division through product life cycle management, pricing strategies and other programs. This role requires a unique blend of corporate insight, business and financial acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efforts are aligned with business growth and value creation.
This role answers the question: As a division, are we investing our dollars most effectively? As a division, are we utilizing our cash most efficiently? How can we develop products that have long term commercial strength?
What You’ll Do
Tie together all aspects of Division level portfolio management – including new product development, capital, M&A, site, etc.
Develop and evaluate models (cost of ownership, business cases, forecasts, etc) to make strategic recommendations on growth initiatives.
In close partnership with the businesses, this role will have division level ownership of product pricing and life cycle management.
Develop financial valuation methodology and models for innovation and growth activities. Partner with the business as you lead the modeling of specific organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
Build strong working relationships with key functional partners to ensure appropriate prioritization, support, and resources to successfully execute business strategy.
Define sustainable key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success in all areas, such as portfolio management and profit center reviews.
Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R&D, Engineering, Finance, Fab Technologies, Manufacturing, Legal and Supply Chain to accomplish business objectives.

Technical – Proficient, to advanced, Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP BPC and/or OneStream a plus; Proficient, to advanced knowledge of PowerBI is a plus; or managing dashboard development/automation
Proven ability to lead complex initiatives or projects with cross-functional team members; Comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and working through issues.
Education - B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant industry experience
Experience - Minimum 10 years’ experience
Other - Ability to travel (25-50%)

Compensation: $185,000 - $245,000 year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
