Role's mission
We are seeking an experienced Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Performance Marketing leader to drive the next phase of user growth for Origin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance customer activation, engagement, and retention, with a strong focus on DTC channels. You’ll lead the creation of paid marketing strategies, experiment with innovative campaigns, and design incentives to effectively acquire and progress leads down the funnel.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling marketing spend efficiently, with experience across both web and app-based platforms. An agency background would be beneficial, as we’re looking for someone who understands the complexities of consumer acquisition across various challenges. We seek a leader who is comfortable taking calculated risks—one who can try multiple approaches, learn from what works (and what doesn’t), and iterate quickly.
This position is essential to building and scaling our performance marketing efforts and will report directly to the VP of Marketing. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to deliver a seamless customer experience and bring new products and campaigns to market effectively.
What you'll do
- Develop and scale Origin’s DTC performance marketing framework, including channel strategy, budgeting, and investment.
- Lead DTC-focused acquisition campaigns, primarily via meta and paid search, while supporting B2B initiatives.
- Define KPIs and collaborate with data science and engineering to enhance martech and reporting.
- Segment target audiences and create tailored strategies for both web and app growth.
- Drive insights through paid messaging tests, focusing on learning from both successes and failures.
- Build marketing attribution funnels to track ROI, customer value, and retention.
- Manage DTC and B2B performance agencies to optimize campaign results.
- Adopt a bold, experimental approach, iterating on strategies based on outcomes.
Must have
- 7+ years of Growth and User Acquisition experience with an emphasis on consumer DTC Brands.
- Proven track record of driving results on Meta and Google.
- Leads a culture of experimentation & learning across channels, ads, landing pages, and other touchpoints.
- Results-focused and data-driven, using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decision-making and prioritize roadmaps.
- App marketing experience in both IOS and Android. This includes strategy, execution, and attribution.
- Comfortable with all aspects of Marketing technology and automation.
- Experience in B2B is considered a bonus.

- BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees
- Have experience with acquisition demand generation and engagement and retention
