Director, Growth Marketing 

Position Summary 

The Director, Growth Marketing serves as the dedicated marketing leader for an assigned business portfolio (e.g., Fleet, Protech, Collision/Glass). This role partners closely with Business Leadership and Sales Leadership to develop integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that accelerate business growth. 

The Director, Growth Marketing translates business priorities into actionable marketing plans, aligns cross-functional marketing resources, monitors business performance, and ensures Marketing delivers measurable results. This role serves as the primary liaison between the business and Marketing, building trusted relationships while driving accountability and execution across the organization. 

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded marketing leader who combines strong business acumen, strategic thinking, relationship management, and marketing expertise to deliver measurable growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Partnership 

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Business Leadership and Sales Leadership.  

  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.  

  • Participate in business planning, leadership meetings, and quarterly business reviews.  

Growth Strategy & Campaign Leadership 

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that support business growth objectives 

  • Own the annual and quarterly Marketing Execution Plan for the assigned business.  

  • Define campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging strategy, channel mix, customer journeys, and success metrics.  

  • Prioritize marketing investments and initiatives based on business impact.  

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Lead planning and coordination across Marketing Centers of Excellence, including Brand, Creative, Digital, Content, Web, PR, Analytics, and Marketing Operations.  

  • Align cross-functional teams around shared priorities and ensure successful execution.  

  • Remove roadblocks, manage priorities, and drive accountability across initiatives.  

Performance & Business Insights 

  • Monitor campaign performance and business results against established KPIs.  

  • Deliver executive-ready reporting, insights, and recommendations.  

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and accelerate business growth.  

Relationship & Portfolio Management 

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for Marketing within the assigned business portfolio.  

  • Build trusted relationships across business, sales, and marketing teams.  

  • Ensure marketing commitments are delivered with quality, speed, and measurable impact.  

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).  

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Growth Marketing, Commercial Marketing, Business Marketing, Demand Generation, or related leadership roles.  

  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior business and sales leaders.  

  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns.  

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to business outcomes.  

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.  

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive influence skills.  

  • Highly analytical with a passion for using data to drive decisions and growth.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
