Job Description:
As the Director of Global Media, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all paid media channels-excluding search-across B2B, B2C, and Public Sector audiences. This includes oversight of display, programmatic, paid social, and organic social efforts. Your role is critical in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion through an integrated, data-driven media approach.

What you'll do:
- Media Strategy Development:
- Design and implement a global media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals. Focus on driving measurable outcomes across diverse audiences, including B2B, B2C, and Public Sector sectors.
- Paid Media Management (Excluding Search):
- Oversee all non-search paid media channels, including programmatic, display, video, and paid social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Ensure campaigns are fully optimized for performance and meet business KPIs.
- Organic Social Media Oversight:
- Lead the strategy and execution of organic social media, ensuring that all platforms align with brand voice and audience expectations. Develop a cohesive social media presence that supports paid efforts while fostering engagement and community growth.
- Cross-Channel Media Integration:
- Collaborate with the Paid Search, SEO, and other digital teams to ensure media strategies are fully integrated. Implement a holistic approach to paid and organic efforts, driving synergy across all channels for maximum reach and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a global team of media specialists across paid and organic channels. Cultivate a high-performing team through guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Vendor and Partnership Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with external media partners, agencies, and platforms. Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure partners deliver on campaign expectations.
- Data-Driven Optimization:
- Utilize analytics to continuously monitor, report, and optimize media performance. Drive campaign adjustments based on real-time data and ensure all media investments deliver a strong ROI.
- Budget Management:
- Oversee the global media budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective media buys. Balance investment between brand awareness and performance campaigns to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
- Innovation and Emerging Trends:
- Stay current on the latest media trends, tools, and platforms. Innovate and test new formats, technologies, and channels to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Experience you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in digital media, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing global media campaigns.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of programmatic, display, video, paid social, and organic social media.
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel media strategies across a variety of audience segments.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing large-scale media budgets and optimizing media investments for maximum return.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $125,700 - $155,200 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
