Our current payments product is Koronet Payments, a payment processor built on Stripe for domestic payments and Nium for cross-border, enabling payment at checkout in Koronet’s B2B ecommerce surfaces and featuring AR functionality built around the needs of the floral vertical (invoicing and statements with convenient payment links, balance verified ePayments in addition to all cards, terminal payments for in-person purchasing, robust payment terms configuration, automated payment on terms, credit limits and credit management, etc.).

Job Description

After launching our payments product 18 months ago, Koronet is hiring our first go-to-market leader focused on scaling payments volume. Reporting to Koronet’s VP Revenue, the Director of Fintech Growth will be responsible for leading go-to-market efforts to grow adoption and usage of Koronet’s payments products and influencing product strategy around improvements to current features and the development of future financial products for the floral industry. The Director will coordinate global efforts for product adoption across the Koronet Revenue team, including sales, implementations, customer success, and support and own company Key Results around volume and net revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead End-to-End Payments Strategy: Define and articulate a clear and compelling vision for Koronet Payments, aligning it with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
  • Product Pricing: Design and implement a cohesive pricing strategy that maximizes product attach conversion, usage, and lifetime value.
  • Champion Koronet Payments Internally: Be the advocate for Koronet Payments across the organization, ensuring company-wide alignment on its significance and driving enthusiasm for its potential.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Build payments-specific go-to-market motion: Define the zero-to-one go-to-market plan that details how Koronet Payments is sold, marketed, and introduced throughout the customer lifecycle. Integrate payments into the sales and implementation process.
  • Enable Sales and customer-facing teams: Equip the sales, marketing, and customer success teams with materials, tools, and training to effectively sell and position Koronet Payments.

Performance and Analytics

  • Define and track payments KPIs: Establish, monitor, and own the primary KPIs for Koronet Payments, including attach rate, penetration, and customer lifetime value.
  • Data-driven decisionmaking: Utilize data and analytics to measure performance, identify opportunities for growth, and make informed strategic decisions.

Customer Advocacy and Product Partnership

  • Drive product innovation via customer feedback: Be the primary liaison between customers and the product team, ensuring customer feedback influences the product roadmap.
  • Partner with strategic customers: Actively partner with key accounts to drive successful adoption and gather critical feedback, ensuring they become champions for Koronet Payments.

Qualifications

  • Prior role selling embedded B2B payments products to U.S. merchants. Understanding of European and cross-border payments a plus.
  • Desire to apply payments GTM experience to design, deploy, and own a GTM strategy.
  • Skillful communication of the  value proposition of embedded payments products.
  • Understanding of payments unit economics.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent.
