Essential Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the global shared services responsible for processing high-volume, standardized finance transactions, including order entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and master data creation
- Oversee accounting activities operations within India, including monthly closing process and statutory compliance
- Engage with the RTR, OTC, and PTP finance leaders to ensure alignment of shared services with business strategies and needs
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Work with the RTR, OTC, and PTP Global Process Owners (GPOs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure standardization, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Collaborate with IT and other functions to design and implement automation to streamline GSSC activities
- Act as the primary point of contact for leadership regarding India GSSC operations, providing regular updates and insights
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in shared services to ensure the GSSC remains competitive and forward-thinking
- Develop cost-effective service level agreements (SLAs) for GSSC activities
- Establish, measure, root cause, and action targeted KPIs to measure GSSC activities
- Mentor and develop a global shared services team, fostering a high-performance culture
