Director of Finance and Operations

Responsibilities:

• Represent Lumotive externally in Oman and in the region
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors and government authorities
• Build partnerships with local organizations to enhance the Lumotive brand
• Manage day to day accounting, general ledger, bank reconciliations, supplier payments and related activities
• Prepare detailed management reports, financial statements, and variance analysis
• Prepare annual budgets and control operational expenses
• Develop standardized operational mechanisms to reduce costs
• Develop and implement financial policies, controls and reporting
• Manage local audits
• Ensure compliance with Omani accounting standards, taxation , and statutory regulations
• Oversee office operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting
• Knowledge of Omani regulations
• Excellent communication in English
• Strong knowledge of Omani regulations
• Pro-active and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to travel to US
• Must be Omani national to support Oman policies and understand the local cultural context
