Value Proposition

 Director – Enterprise Valuation Analysis & Credit Administration India will lead Enterprise Valuation Analysis staff in First Citizens India (FCI) (80%) and lead second line Credit Administration India teams aligned to Credit Administration & Infrastructure in the United States (20%).      

 

This candidate will partner closely with the Head of Enterprise Valuation function in the United States to develop and manage a team Enterprise Valuation professional, contribute thought leadership to the enterprise practice with regards to industry best practices, valuation methodologies, and oversee FCI team analysis quality.  As an experienced Enterprise Valuation practitioner, the right candidate will manage the escalation of complex financial questions and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of compliant/independent valuation reports.  


As the leader of Credit Administration India, this role is responsible for administrative management of teams aligned with Credit Administration & Infrastructure, including; management and strategic growth of various credit functions in India for credit portfolio analytics, business risk and controls, and credit systems product management.


The candidate shall be responsible for FCI based deliverables, controls, process documentation, performance management, and management reporting.

About the Team:

FCB Enterprise Valuation Analysis is part of Credit Administration and Infrastructure, and the team operates both within FCB in the United States and India.   The Enterprise Valuation Analysis, as an independent function, is key to growing and managing the banks leverage lending portfolio.

The candidate will play a crucial role in both supporting the US based EVA function owner and managing the growth of the Enterprise Valuation team in India.    In addition, the right candidate will help the overall coordination with India based consultant partners.        


The candidate shall be responsible for cultivating a culture that values risk intelligent mindset, data-driven insights and ensuring informed decision-making by developing forward looking strategic solutions through the available talented workforce.


 

Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute FCI’s Credit Administration strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and objectives of the organization.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day enterprise valuation and credit operations, manage resources, and ensure efficiency and effectiveness in achieving business goals.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business success.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and execute projects effectively to meet strategic objectives and deliver results within set timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and opportunities for credit teams’ solutions
  • Ensure reporting and governance for Credit Administration India team deliverables
  • Responsible for collaborating with US Leaders in setting the vision and roadmap for teams in India and ensuring the organization has access to accurate, timely, and relevant data.
  • Act as the escalation point for the India team deliverables ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, agreed from time to time, to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
  • Ensure all operational activities are well documented in accordance with internal policies and regulatory/audit requirements.
  • Engages in talent planning and development to support future talent needs of the Bank. Build a future-ready workforce through talent acquisition, retention, and development aligned with our strategic goals, expertise needs and culture.
  • Minimize unwanted attrition via professional integration, return focus to people development and career planning, hire all allocated positions within 90 days of allocation.

Skills and Qualification

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Review complex financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, and valuation conclusions
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Valuation methodologies and industry best practices.    Expertise in valuing distressed companies is a plus.
  • Up to date on market trends and valuation standards and using financial modeling tools regularly.
  • Requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Business, or related field, CFA is an advantage
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise valuation analysis  
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • Mentor junior analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and then story tell complex datasets to end-users in a relatable & understandable manner thus enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks

Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred credentials include Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), American Society of Appraisers (ASA), International Certified Valuation Specialist (ICVS) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
