As Director Engineering you will be responsible for maintaining Resort Facilities and Preview Center, including physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with the energy conservation and preventative maintenance program.

  • Provides area expertise and assists with all strategies

  • At least five years of experience as journey mechanic or engineer with a class A hotel company or related industry.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Director or Assistant Director/Chief Engineer in the same or similar environment.
  • Considerable knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to analyze their design intent and performance.
  • Ability to analyze trends in utility consumption to ensure proper energy forecasting and to set up energy conservation programs.
  • Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
  • Technical Diploma preferred

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • General practical experience in the fields of stationary engineering, building maintenance, plumbing, and electrical wiring.
  • 7+ years related experience. 
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders and rooftops, and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Considerable knowledge of construction and building systems.
  • Ability to analyze trends in utility consumption to ensure proper energy forecasting and to set up energy conservation programs
