Job Title: Director of Engineering
Duties:
- Architect and lead development of an enterprise-grade Agentic AI platform, focusing on scalable agent orchestration and autonomous workflows.
- Own end-to-end engineering delivery for product development, ensuring alignment between product requirements and technical implementation.
- Design and maintain deployment frameworks for cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support enterprise procurement and private offers.
- Manage and supervise a team of 35+ engineers across onsite and offshore locations, including setting objectives, assigning work, and evaluating performance.
- Oversee multiple engineering managers, technical leads, and individual contributors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Establish team structures, define roles and responsibilities, and implement performance tracking mechanisms.
- Conduct code reviews and provide architectural guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and system design principles.
- Lead integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), including configuration and infrastructure alignment.
- Manage customer accounts from an engineering standpoint, including participating in technical discussions, addressing escalations, and ensuring successful product implementation.
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and translate business needs into product features and enhancements.
- Participate in customer meetings, solution discussions, and technical reviews to support delivery and adoption.
- Define and implement AI governance policies, including compliance, security, and ethical standards.
- Lead modernization of customer systems into cloud-based architectures.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of engineering staff.
- Coordinate with product, business, and executive teams to align engineering deliverables with organizational goals.
- Implement monitoring and observability practices to maintain system availability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data security and privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Apply Agile methodologies and development practices to maintain release schedules and delivery timelines.
- Lead technical proofs of concept (POCs) for customers.
- Manage engineering budgets, including cloud usage and vendor expenses.
- Support research and evaluation of new technologies, including large language models and AI frameworks.
Requirement: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields, plus five years of experience in a related occupation. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
