Sovos enables businesses to report their tax and regulatory obligations to the government.
The Role

Build your future with Sovos.

If you’re seeking a career where innovation meets impact, you’ve come to the right place. As a global leader, Sovos is transforming tax compliance from a business requirement to a force for growth while revolutionizing how businesses navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

At Sovos, we’re dedicated to more than just solving compliance challenges – we’re committed to making a positive and lasting difference in everything we do. Our teams operate on the modern edge of digital technology, working not only to solve complex business challenges but also to enrich our personal, professional, and local communities.

Our purpose-built systems provide the tools you need to thrive in a world where governments demand increased visibility, faster reporting and greater control over business processes. Excited about the possibilities? So are we!

Don’t worry if you don’t check all the boxes – apply anyway! We’re focused on hiring the right people, not just the “right” resume. It’s not about what you’ve done elsewhere; it’s all about what you’re capable of doing here.

The Work You’ll Do:

The Director of Sales Enablement partners closely with the Head of Enablement to build the future of the function at Sovos. This role drives optimization and adoption of the sales tech stack (primarily CMS and LMS) — especially with regards to the evolving AI roadmap — builds and manages enablement plans, delivers reporting and insights, and manages sales communications. You’ll lead a team of two and partner closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT to turn enablement strategy into measurable outcomes.

More specifically, you will:

Sales Enablement Tech Stack

Own the strategy, execution, and procurement process of our AI-driven roadmap for the CMS and LMS systems

Partner with Product Marketing and other stakeholders to improve the CMS and LMS experience

Roll out enablement best practices that improve adoption of CMS and LMS

Partner with Sales Operations to provide guidance for the rest of the sales tech stack

Enablement Programs

Translate strategic enablement priorities into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables

Drive alignment across stakeholders, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs

Establish repeatable operating rhythms for launches, training programs, and communications

Sales Communications

Own the strategy and execution of sales enablement communications (multi-channel: meetings, newsletter, emails, Teams channels, etc.)

Produce concise, benefit-oriented communications with clear calls-to-action

Champion Voice of the Sales by prioritizing sales experience and WIFM across initiatives, and ensuring the collecting of — and actioning on — sales feedback through Sovos Sales Council and other channels

Reporting, Insights & Measurement

Build and maintain enablement reporting and dashboards that surface adoption, engagement, and impact — and connect enablement activity to performance outcomes

Deliver insights and recommendations to Enablement, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders to guide decision-making

People Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop a team of two enablement operations and communications professionals

Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations while fostering accountability and growth

Model operational excellence, collaboration, and a customer-first mindset

What We Need From You

Experience & Expertise

8+ years of experience in GTM with at least half of that in Enablement

Proven experience owning and managing a sales enablement or revenue tech stack; experience with enablement platforms (Mindtickle, Highspot, etc.)

Strong project management background with the ability to run complex, cross-functional initiatives

Experience creating and managing internal communications for a sales or internal audience

Demonstrated success building reporting, dashboards, and insights

Leadership & Collaboration

Ability to influence without authority and partner effectively across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and IT

Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level

Previous team leadership and/or cross-functional leadership preferred

Skills & Attributes

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

       Strong sense of ownership

Enjoys organizing and regularly brings order and structure to systems

Passionate about helping others and seeing sellers succeed

Excellent communicator with a creative mindset

Excited about future innovation and the AI revolution

Brings positive energy and readily builds effective internal and external partnerships across a global organization

Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
