What You Will Do:
The Director of Health Technology Consulting serves as a senior leader within the EHR Practice and is responsible for helping healthcare organizations realize measurable value from their EHR investments through adoption, optimization, organizational change management, training, and long-term sustainment strategies.
This role combines deep healthcare operational expertise, EHR domain knowledge, and management consulting capabilities to lead transformational programs across provider, payer, public health, and integrated delivery network environments. The Director works with executive stakeholders, clinical leaders, operational leaders, and technology teams to improve user engagement, drive workflow adoption, increase EHR proficiency, and establish enduring governance models that sustain organizational performance after implementation and go-live.
In addition to client delivery responsibilities, the Director is expected to build, scale, and commercialize consulting offerings focused on EHR adoption, optimization, workforce transformation, and digital enablement.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; preferred focus areas in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum TEN (10)+ years of healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, EHR leadership, or healthcare technology experience.
Minimum 5+ years leading large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated expertise with at least one major EHR platform:
Epic
Oracle Health (Cerner)
MEDITECH
Deep understanding of healthcare delivery and operational processes across one or more domains:
Clinical operations
Ambulatory care
Acute care
Revenue cycle
Population health
Patient access
Care management
Digital health
Significant experience designing and executing Organizational Change Management programs.
Proven success leading enterprise adoption and engagement initiatives.
Experience developing long-term sustainment, governance, and continuous improvement models.
Strong executive presence with experience advising C-suite and senior healthcare leaders.
Experience leading multifaceted consulting engagements with budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree
Epic certification(s), Oracle Health certification(s), MEDITECH certification(s), or equivalent platform expertise.
Prosci, CCMP, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications.
Experience with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, large health systems, government health agencies, or payer organizations.
Knowledge of healthcare quality, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement frameworks.
Experience leveraging analytics, adoption metrics, and user behavior data to drive transformation outcomes.
