As Director of Editorial Compliance and Standards, you will play a critical role in supporting the OPIS Compliance and Standards Department. You will ensure that editorial policies, procedures, and price reporting across OPIS align with regulations and best practices - including the IOSCO Principles for Price Reporting Agencies (PRAs). You will design and execute internal audit processes, manage documentation and controls, support training and compliance initiatives, and engage collaboratively across business lines to foster a culture of compliance. You will also help monitor the systems and governance infrastructure that protect the integrity of OPIS price assessments and uphold trust in the markets we serve. You will report to the Vice President of Compliance and Standards.

You Will:Conduct internal audits of OPIS price assessments to ensure editorial decisions and market commentary are accurate, traceable, and methodology compliant
Manage document control systems, including archiving and version tracking of methodologies, assessments, audits, and correction records
Support compliance training, onboarding, and certification tracking across all editorial staff
Assist in enforcing editorial review policies, peer review structures, and assessment approval protocols
Help design and maintain systems to track audit results, risk indicators, and compliance progress
Work with editorial, legal, and tech partners to ensure price reporting controls are properly functioning in business systems and platforms
Contribute to assurance readiness projects and continuous improvement of internal compliance practices
12 years’ relevant experience
Experience conducting audits and or overseeing risk controls within a price reporting, financial, energy market, or related setting
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, legal/regulatory, or related discipline -OR- equivalent work experience
