Here's the Scoop – Summary
The Director of E‑commerce is responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and execution of the company’s ecommerce business, with a primary focus on Amazon and Chewy.
This role owns the end‑to‑end performance of these platforms and is accountable for driving revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, and best‑in‑class execution across marketplace channels.
What a typical day looks like:
Oversee ecommerce strategy and execution including assortment, promotional planning, media investments, and operational excellence.
Monitor marketplace platform performance, algorithm changes, and policy updates to proactively mitigate risks and unlock opportunities.
Lead best‑in‑class execution across content, SEO, advertising, pricing, promotions, and availability.
Develop and manage annual operating plans, forecasts, and promotional strategies for eCommerce channels.
Own and execute the e‑commerce marketplace strategy, with deep focus on Amazon and Chewy.
Drive sales growth, share, and profitability across Amazon (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central) and Chewy.

Proven success managing Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, including retail negotiations and media programs.
Deep understanding of Chewy’s platform, operating model, and customer expectations.
Strong P&L ownership experience with a track record of driving profitable growth.
Highly analytical, strategic, and execution‑oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
