This is an enterprise leadership role with responsibility for defining strategy, driving adoption, and influencing how discoverability is embedded across content, marketing, communications, and digital experience teams.

  • Lead cross-functional‑functional collaboration with SEO, content, communications, analytics, and technology teams to operationalize AEO at scale.
  • Define success metrics and reporting, building dashboards and translating insights into clear recommendations for business and content leaders.
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts, including AI search platforms, zero‑click experiences, and evolving search engine behaviors.
  • Establish governance to ensure discoverability practices align with brand, accessibility, and data privacy standards.
  • Evangelize discoverability excellence through education, enablement, and executive‑level storytelling.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven success optimizing for featured snippets, structured data, and AI‑driven search environments.
  • Deep understanding of semantic search, technical SEO and search platform evolution.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional‑functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands‑on experience with enterprise SEO platforms (e.g., BrightEdge, Conductor, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Experience managing direct reports (technical SEO, content strategist).

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regulated or complex industry (e.g., home services, financial).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and enterprise content workflows.
