The Director, Digital Marketing & Web Strategy will lead Quaise’s digital marketing ecosystem, website strategy, digital engagement initiatives, and marketing operations infrastructure to strengthen brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and organizational growth. This role will oversee the development and optimization of digital platforms, campaigns, analytics, SEO strategy, content performance, and user experience initiatives that support commercialization, recruiting, investor engagement, industry visibility, and corporate communications objectives.

Working closely with Marketing & Communications, investor-facing teams, recruiting, technical teams, and executive leadership, the Director will develop and execute scalable digital strategies that improve audience engagement, strengthen digital brand presence, optimize performance metrics, and support Quaise’s long-term strategic objectives.

Additional responsibilities include managing digital vendors and platforms, supporting cross-functional collaboration, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement, and advancing initiatives that strengthen Quaise’s digital presence and operational effectiveness.

Location & Work Arrangement: On-site in Houston, TX; Boston, MA; or Oregon. Candidates located outside these areas may be considered for a fully remote (virtual) work arrangement.

Digital Strategy & Marketing Operations

  • Develop and execute Quaise’s digital marketing and web strategy to support brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, commercialization efforts, recruiting initiatives, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Lead the strategy, architecture, governance, optimization, and ongoing evolution of Quaise’s website and digital ecosystem.
  • Build scalable digital marketing operations, analytics, reporting, and campaign infrastructure that support organizational growth and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and manage SEO, SEM, digital advertising, content distribution, and audience engagement strategies across digital channels.
  • Oversee digital performance measurement and reporting, including website analytics, campaign metrics, conversion optimization, engagement tracking, and audience insights.
  • Evaluate and implement digital platforms, automation tools, AI-enabled workflows, CRM integrations, and marketing technologies that improve operational efficiency and digital effectiveness.

Website, Content & User Experience

  • Partner closely with Communications, Creative, Recruiting, Investor Relations, and technical teams to ensure alignment across digital content, messaging, branding, and user experience initiatives.
  • Lead development and optimization of digital content strategies that strengthen stakeholder engagement, search visibility, technical storytelling, and audience conversion.
  • Ensure consistency across digital branding, accessibility standards, governance policies, content architecture, and user experience best practices.
  • Translate complex technical, scientific, and commercial concepts into engaging digital experiences and audience-focused content strategies.
  • Support development and execution of digital campaigns tied to project milestones, fundraising initiatives, recruiting efforts, conferences, partnerships, and corporate announcements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align digital strategy with corporate communications, commercialization priorities, stakeholder engagement, recruiting, and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, digital engagement data, SEO performance, competitor activity, and evolving technologies to inform strategy and optimization efforts.
  • Manage external agencies, developers, consultants, advertising partners, and digital vendors supporting Company initiatives.
  • Support crisis communications, rapid-response updates, and executive communications initiatives across digital platforms as needed.
  • Develop scalable workflows, governance processes, and content management standards that improve operational efficiency and digital execution quality.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Competencies

  • Deep expertise in digital marketing strategy, website management, SEO/SEM, analytics, digital advertising, and content optimization.
  • Strong understanding of digital engagement strategies within technical, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or climate-tech industries.
  • Experience building scalable digital ecosystems, analytics frameworks, marketing operations infrastructure, and conversion-focused user experiences.

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Manage external digital agencies, developers, consultants, advertising partners, and marketing technology vendors supporting Company initiatives.
  • May recruit, develop, and oversee future digital marketing, web strategy, and marketing operations personnel as organizational needs evolve.
  • Coordinate cross-functional digital initiatives across communications, recruiting, investor-facing teams, and executive leadership.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, web strategy, marketing operations, growth marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience within energy, infrastructure, advanced technology, engineering, climate tech, or other technically complex industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading website strategy, digital engagement initiatives, SEO optimization, analytics programs, and digital campaign execution.
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations, commercialization initiatives, or multi-stakeholder communications environments preferred.

Physical requirements

  • This role requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, as well as use hands to feel, reach, grasp, handle, or operate objects, tools and/or controls.
  • The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, transfer, or move items up 20 pounds at times for departmental needs.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for conferences, stakeholder meetings, team collaboration, and Company events.
  • The vision requirement includes reviewing written and electronic materials in digital and physical format.
