Job Summary:
The Director, Data Product Management is responsible for the development, implementation and management of long-term product strategy, product business development pipeline and product benefit design.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of a competitive product platform for all Enterprise Data Products, driving consistency, simplicity and standardization
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to drive the overall Product strategy, including setting 3-year high level goals and delivery of Data & Analytics specific strategies that have consolidated stakeholder tactical actions
- Develops short and long-term strategic product design plans for IT and business stakeholders supporting overall growth and profitability objectives
- Delivery and maintenance of the Product Source of Truth, training, release management, timelines, and delivery support through internal sharepoint.
- Ensure Product decisions are communicated clearly to all affected Stakeholders
- Lead Product Management initiatives through their life cycle, and have familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of CareSource’s Data Products
- Develop and/or produce applicable policy & procedures, detailed reports and business decision documents to support the Product Management function
- Identify and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, and communicate/escalate to key stakeholders
- Conduct performance management activities for direct reports, to include one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, and discipline, as appropriate
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Finance, Business or health care field, or other related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of product management, product development, software development life cycle, and executive stakeholder engagement, to include at least five (5) years within the healthcare industry is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of previous management/leadership experience is required
- Familiarity of the healthcare/managed care field and knowledge of government program products is required

Compensation Range:
$132,900.00 - $232,700.00
CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
