Job Description

We are searching for a seasoned Director of Data Management to lead our data management & AI initiatives within our Data Insights Practice. The Director of Data Management will play a crucial role in shaping the Go To Market from a technical lens for the Data Insights practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data management within consultancy environments, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of data technologies and best practices. Additionally, they should have a proven ability to engage in pre-sales meetings with customers, stay informed on data technology trends and market research, and communicate effectively with both executives and individual contributors.

  • Experience working within fast-paced organizations and partnering with other internal practices to create an environment that bolsters team and organizational efficiencies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest data technology trends and market developments to inform strategic decisions and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Lead and participate in pre-sales meetings with potential clients, providing expert insights into data management and GenAI solutions that align with their business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data management concepts effectively to both executives and individual contributors, tailoring the message to the audience.
  • Provide expert guidance on data and AI governance, data quality, data architecture, and data security, helping clients establish robust data management frameworks.
  • Thought Leadership of comprehensive data management strategies and solutions for clients, aligning with their business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data architectures, including data models, data pipelines, and data warehouses, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Define data and AI governance processes and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices across client organizations.
  • Define data quality initiatives and programs, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation, to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of client data.
  • Lead junior team members, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure project success.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on data management matters, both internally and externally, participating in client meetings, workshops, and presentations as needed.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management, with a focus on consultancy or professional services environments.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as data governance platforms, ETL tools, and cloud-based data services.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data management projects for clients across various industries and domains.
  • Deep expertise in data management principles, practices, and technologies, including data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of client organizations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams of data management professionals.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
