Position Overview
Core One is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to expand our presence within U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and its affiliated organizations. This role is critical to advancing Core One’s mission by identifying and capturing new business opportunities that support INDOPACOM’s priorities in the Indo-Pacific region. The successful candidate will align Core One’s capabilities with INDOPACOM’s operational and intelligence requirements to enhance regional security and mission readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within INDOPACOM and associated components, ensuring alignment with Core One’s strategic goals.
  • Develop tailored market strategies that leverage Core One’s existing capabilities and programs to address INDOPACOM’s operational and intelligence needs in the Indo-Pacific.
  • Build and maintain relationships with INDOPACOM stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration to shape acquisition strategies.
  • Lead strategic engagements with key INDOPACOM decision-makers, including senior military leaders, acquisition officials, and intelligence personnel.
  • Collaborate with program managers and executive leadership to design and execute winning capture strategies for INDOPACOM-focused initiatives.
  • Drive corporate responses to market surveys, RFIs, and RFPs issued by INDOPACOM or its subordinate commands.
  • Provide detailed analysis of opportunities during Core One’s gate review process, ensuring alignment with INDOPACOM’s mission requirements and Core One’s market position.
  • Maintain strong relationships within the business community to identify teaming opportunities for INDOPACOM-related pursuits.

Required Skills

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance 
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in DoD/Intelligence Community contracting, including 5+ years of program/portfolio management or business development experience.
    • Deep understanding of INDOPACOM’s mission, structure, and regional priorities.
    • Experience with key contracting vehicles
    • Proven track record in competitive federal proposal efforts exceeding $25M in value.
    • Experience supporting regional Combatant Command (CCMD) intelligence and operational needs.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior INDOPACOM leaders and acquisition personnel.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute compliant and competitive capture strategies tailored to INDOPACOM’s unique requirements.
    • Strong analytical skills to integrate competitive intelligence and pricing strategies into proposals.
    • Extensive professional network within the Defense Intelligence and Indo-Pacific-focused industry ecosystem.
