In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing referral relationships that increase access to care and support organizational growth across Community Health Alliance’s continuum of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with referral sources throughout the service area.
  • Conduct routine in-person outreach to hospitals, healthcare providers, courts, probation departments, schools, employers, managed care organizations, and community partners.
  • Identify, cultivate, and expand new referral partners and maintain ongoing communication regarding programs, outcomes, and service availability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key referral partners and maintain ongoing communication regarding programs, outcomes, and service availability.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with hospitals, healthcare systems, emergency departments, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, and physician practices.
  • Develop streamlined referral pathways and improve referral-to-admission conversion processes.
  • Strengthen relationships with criminal justice stakeholders, including drug courts, mental health courts, probations departments, jails, law enforcement agencies, and reentry programs.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, conferences, networking events, and stakeholder gatherings to enhance visibility and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to track referral activity, monitor trends, evaluate outcomes, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams to improve referral processes, patient access, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Social Services, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, admissions, outreach, healthcare sales, account management, or relationship development.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area.

Skills Required
