The Role
The Director of Business Development for Sportstyle will lead the business development team, implement product strategies, oversee key projects, and optimize processes while maintaining strong partnerships with top customers and driving operational excellence.

  • Establish, lead and develop the Sportstyle Business Development team with a strong business understanding
  • and service mentality
  • Be responsible that product strategy is delivered and followed through across all Sportstyle business segments
  • (be the owner of the pre-seasonal alignment)
  • Implement a new collaborative business approach towards regions, areas & markets to grow Sportstyle business
  • Oversee and steer key strategic projects e.g.; digitalization, Sportstyle on Ecom etc.
  • Responsible to steer operational excellence in the Business Unit to optimize processes & drive digitalization
  • Implement and oversee accurate reporting and KPI management across Sportstyle Business Unit
  • Implement agile teams and agile ways of working
  • Be the Sportstyle business partner for top customers – own sell-in master presentation
  • Be the Sportstyle business partner for own Ecom/Retail.

YOUR TALENT
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 10 years international experience in the field of Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Merchandising with top tier international sports company, with 3+ years leadership experience required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Credible knowledge of the sportswear/fashion industry
  • General knowledge of international retail environment and interest for new trends and technologies
  • Awareness of agile working methods to foster collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills. High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident
  • Strong analytical, overall business orientation
  • Ability to convincingly present
  • Domestic and international travel required.
