WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role primarily partners with Designers, Narratives, Producers, and the Brand Experience, the Retail Design and the Digital Brand Studio teams. The role maintains a close connection with the Global counterpart team to ensure creative consistency and alignment across the brand. The Brand Creative Director will also partner with and report to the Sr. Creative Director.
Outside of Brand Creative, key partners include Brand Marketing teams, who are shaping the brand strategy for Nike Running and ACG, as well as Digital Marketing, (Social) Media, and Retail Brand teams.
The role also leads external agencies, artists, and creative partners to elevate the craft and execution of projects.The team is based in the Netherlands within the Nike EMEA Brand Creative Studio.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a visionary creative leader who combines strong conceptual thinking with proven leadership capabilities to shape and drive the creative direction of Nike Running and ACG across EMEA. This person brings a deep understanding of sport, performance culture, and contemporary consumer behavior, with relevance to running and/or outdoor communities.
Over the course of their career, they have led the end-to-end creative development of international brand campaigns and brand experiences, having translated strategy into compelling narratives and impactful brand expressions. Their background spans creative direction, art direction, design, storytelling, and experience creation, with a strong understanding of how to extend global concepts while creating meaningful regional relevance.
Equally important, they are deeply connected to the creative industry and continuously seek inspiration from emerging cultural movements, technologies, and creative practices. They stay curious, embrace innovation, and bring fresh thinking to every challenge while maintaining alignment with Nike Marketing strategies and Brand Creative standards.
Creative
- Extensive experience in leading end-to-end creative development covering creative direction, creative strategy, design, experience design, image making, and storytelling with a strong focus on sport and sport culture.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Keynote, AI-enabled creative tools, and contemporary design practices, including motion and 3D design.
- Demonstrated expertise in concept development, art direction, visual storytelling, graphic design & typography, design systems, color theory, environmental design, and presentation development.
Leadership
- Proven experience leading and developing diverse creative teams while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Ability to create clarity, align stakeholders around a compelling creative vision, and influence across complex cross-functional environments.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
You will lead the development of high-quality creative work from strategy through execution, communicating compelling concepts to internal and external audiences throughout the creative process. You will play a key role in shaping and guiding work across the Nike Running and ACG portfolio.
- Extend Global Creative Concepts or originate EMEA-specific Creative Concepts.
- Lead the creation of product campaigns, brand campaign, consumer experiences, brand events, toolkits and retail installations.
- Develop and deliver full-funnel creative solutions spanning strategy, concept development, and execution.
- Move across varied projects while maintaining clear communication, strong alignment, and creative momentum.
- Oversee territory executions to ensure brand standards are met through the whole EMEA region.
You will also lead a team of Designers and Narratives. Together, the Brand Creative squad delivers sharper, more impactful end-to-end creative work that serves consumers and athletes*, drives premium brand experiences at scale, and shapes the future of the Nike brand.
