What we do:
We shape the business decision-making process by providing the business units with data and insights about the risks and potential of their initiatives. We ensure that opportunities that require strong data foundations are captured and invest heavily in unlocking opportunities that require advanced data modeling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
We are looking for an experienced data leader with Business experience and an analytical mindset. In the first phase, this person will work closely with data engineering teams to build a data warehouse to support marketing, product, and business teams and develop it. This phase will require understanding the needs and complexities of bridging between two different data units, motivating people to take action, and understanding organizational politics. In the second phase, this person will lead a group of analysts to improve the company's ROAS, revenue growth, and profitability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Data architecture: Oversee the design and implementation of the data warehouse to ensure reliability and scalability and that it meets the business unit needs
- Roadmap Development: Translate the company goals into a detailed data roadmap for the data engineering, analytics, and science teams
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across all departments to ensure data initiatives meet business needs and achieve measurable results.
- Working with different cultures across various levels—professional, business, and mental—facilitating and motivating different stakeholders to maximize collaboration.
Requirements:
- +5 years of experience as an analyst in a technology company (E-commerce background is preferable)
- +2 years of managerial experience from a technology company
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in standard statistical analysis methods
- Highly analytical with solid business skills (Translate insights into growth/profit)
- Experience in leading a cross-functional environment to ensure that the analytics team's output is aligned with the company’s objectives
