The Director of Analytics and Reporting will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide analytics strategies and solutions. This pivotal role serves as a strategic partner to internal business units, driving the optimization and adoption of CSC-supported analytics capabilities across global development functions.
Reporting into the Data Management function of Enterprise Technology, this leader will oversee key areas including advanced analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and data visualization. The Director will ensure these capabilities are tightly aligned with enterprise-wide objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Director will be responsible for:
- Driving innovation and value creation through scalable analytics solutions
- Fostering strong cross-functional partnerships with business, technology, and data stakeholders
- Translating strategic goals into actionable insights and measurable outcomes
The Director must demonstrate a proven ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing, diverse teams in a dynamic, enterprise environment. This role requires a strong blend of leadership acumen and technical expertise, with deep proficiency in data virtualization, business intelligence, analytics, and data science.
In addition to technical depth, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integrating complex business processes with associated systems and infrastructure, enabling seamless data flow(Data abstract layer), operational efficiency, and insight generation across the organization.
This unique combination of strategic leadership and hands-on technical capability is essential to drive innovation, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver on the organization's data and analytics vision.
Responsibilities
- Modernize Technology Architecture & Infrastructure
Build and optimize scalable, flexible, and secure technology foundations to unlock data, analytics, and AI capabilities across the enterprise. - Establish and Communicate a Compelling Data Analytics Strategy
Define a bold, actionable vision for data and AI; ensure alignment and engagement through clear communication and strong stakeholder relationships. - Articulate and Measure Business Value
Quantify the impact of data, analytics, and AI initiatives by linking investments to measurable business outcomes and value creation. - Implement a Modern Operating Model
Drive shared accountability and cross-functional collaboration through agile, domain-aligned data ownership and governance structures. - Build an AI-Ready Workforce
Attract, develop, and retain top talent with advanced data and AI skill sets to accelerate innovation and readiness for Gen AI. - Promote a Data Product Mindset and Insight-Driven Culture
Empower the organization through data democratization, enabling access to trusted, reusable data products and self-service insights. - Capitalize on Gen AI Opportunities
Leverage existing and emerging technology investments to harness the transformative potential of generative AI in practical, value-driven ways. - Ensure Data Privacy, Security, and Compliance
Proactively manage evolving regulatory requirements and enterprise risks through robust data governance, privacy, and security frameworks. - Strengthen Ecosystem Partnerships
Expand capabilities and accelerate delivery by evaluating and engaging with external partners who complement in-house expertise. - Champion Ethical and Sustainable Data Practices
Embed ethics, sustainability, and trust into all data and AI initiatives, demonstrating leadership both internally and externally.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a closely related field is strongly preferred
Experience:
- 15 plus years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Virtualization, Analytics, and/or Data Platforms, with a strong focus on predictive modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven matrix leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead through influence, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience in data integration, ingestion, warehousing, and management of large-scale, complex, and diverse data environments.
- Strong capability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics and data integration solutions, while identifying capability gaps and defining the roadmap to meet future-state modeling and analytics goals.
- Experienced in leading high-performing teams of analysts, data scientists, BI developers, with a focus on innovation, impact, and scalable solutions.
- Known for exceptional communication and data storytelling abilities, effectively engaging technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing, managing and mentoring globally distributed teams.
