Job Description

Position Summary

The Director of Agreements is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of the U.S. Industrial Service Agreements business. This strategic role leads new agreement acquisition, while driving customer retention.

 

This leader has responsibility over a national team responsible for agreement sales, agreement renewals, inside sales, business development, account segmentation, strategic targeting, and agreement administration. Through close partnership with Local Field Operations, Sales, Key Account Management and Service Excellence teams, this position ensures a disciplined, scalable approach to growing Konecranes' service agreement portfolio while improving customer satisfaction and retention.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Own national performance of agreement retention and renewals and new agreement acquisition.

· Develop and execute agreements strategy to drive profitable growth.

· Establish annual revenue, retention, acquisition, and productivity objectives.

· Lead segmentation and targeting strategies for Priority, Protect, Develop, and Prospect customer populations.

· Identify growth opportunities through data analytics, customer trends, competitive intelligence, and market analysis.

· Partner with Sales, Operations, Key Account Management, and Finance leadership to align agreement growth initiatives.

· Establish standard work, processes, and governance for agreement selling activities; leveraging existing tools, such as CRM to drive performance.

· Lead and develop managers and team members across. Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop talent.

· Create a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, or related field.

· 8+ years of leadership experience in industrial services, sales, commercial operations, or customer success.

· Demonstrated success leading multifunctional teams across large geographic regions.

· Strong analytical and financial acumen.

· Experience managing sales pipelines, retention programs, and recurring revenue businesses.

· Expertise in CRM and sales management systems.

· Strong communication, coaching, and change leadership skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in industrial services, crane services, maintenance agreements, or other recurring service businesses.

· Experience leading national sales or commercial operations teams.

· Advanced knowledge of customer segmentation, account management, and strategic account growth.

· Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience.
