Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our team in Philadelphia, PA or St Louis City, MO.
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Partnering w/ Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for programs.
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 8+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
- 5+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
- 5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
- Domestic and international travel as needed
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired
- Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
- Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role
- Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role
