The Opportunity
As an Agency Sales Director, you are one of the primary links between Kargo and the UK marketplace. In this sales role, you’ll use your expertise to develop and broaden relationships across key agencies, brands, and platforms to ultimately align Kargo’s value proposition with their various challenges and goals.
The Daily To-Do
- Has an established, activatable network. Knows and successfully navigates the dynamics of Tier 1 agencies and holding companies. Knowledge of programmatic dynamics and supply chain
- Exhibits a HUNTER mentality – a desire for building and closing deals. This includes growing market share of current business and facilitating new business
- Creates and grows partnerships both brand direct and with target agencies. Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels that enhance Kargo's position
- Possesses solid comprehension of the full digital ecosystem, with a curiosity to always learn more
- Works to deeply understand the customer's business, challenges, and goals. Increases revenue from positioning and presenting new and existing products, preparing appropriate ROIs, and closing the sale
- Maintains complete and precise documentation in SalesForce of all activity
- Maintains broad knowledge of company products and their capabilities as well as the strengths/ weaknesses of competitive products
- Cycle market response back to the company, primarily the product organization, to help inform our roadmap and positioning
- Interface with Kargo creative, design, and yield teams to develop sound, compelling forward-thinking ideas and proposals
- Works very closely with Account Management teams to service, maintain, renew and up-sell current clients
Qualifications
- Existing relationships across target agencies and respective clients
- 5+ years of experience selling online advertising
- Must have strong list of brand and agency contacts
- Deep experience within programmatic technology
- Solid knowledge of digital and mobile marketing
- Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a highly motivated team player
- PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills a must. Knowledge in Salesforce a plus.
- Passion for sales/marketing, and have the ability to adjust quickly to changing demands or strategies
- Must be willing and able to travel
