Could you be our next Director, Agency Recruiting? Globe Life is looking for a Director, Agency Recruiting to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for helping to devise, design & integrate agreed strategies to support healthy, sustained quarter-over-quarter growth in Recruiting, Sales, and Middle Management for the assigned Agency Owners. The Director, Agency Recruiting will lead and train in a motivational way that enthuses and encourages application of skills, knowledge, and positive mental attitude through the education of the field in the activities of Recruiting, Sales, Sales Leadership, Training, and Development.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday–Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Partner directly with assigned agencies to develop and execute growth strategies, targeting sustainable annual growth of at least 10% across established performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Agency Owners, Regional Directors, Market Directors, and Field Directors to establish objectives, projections, and action plans across sales, recruiting, agent growth, middle-management development, mobile technology adoption, financial performance, career-track advancement, and agency-building best practices.
- Coach and develop agency leaders and field teams through onsite partnership, monthly training, and ongoing follow-up to strengthen execution and improve results.
- Travel to assigned offices for 10 to 12 weeks per quarter and spend additional time in the field as needed to maximize impact.
- Facilitate quarterly three- to four-day, in-person training sessions on agency-building best practices and other priority topics to promote consistent knowledge and effectiveness across the organization.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent at all levels within each division.
What You Can Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in sales, recruiting, leadership development, or a combination of these areas within the insurance industry.
- An active state life and health insurance license is required.
- Additional state licenses are preferred based on the assigned territory.
- Professional designation, such as Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, preferred.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and a results-oriented approach.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, determined, and collaborative approach to work.
