We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Accounting to lead and oversee the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records while driving operational excellence across all accounting processes.


As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will provide oversight of financial reporting, general accounting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for strengthening accounting operations, enhancing financial processes, and supporting sound business decision-making through accurate and timely financial information. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s financial health, improving efficiencies, and supporting MarketForce’s continued growth and long-term success.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle accounting operations for MarketForce, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and asset management.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and internal standards.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures to support audit readiness and risk management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align accounting practices with business needs and provide strategic financial insights.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance.

  • Oversee financial reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making and business planning.

  • Serve as the key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team, promoting professional development and operational excellence.

  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive automation and efficiency.

  • Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in reporting accuracy, speed, and scalability.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role preferably within a BPO or shared services environment.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and financial compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead accounting teams and manage multi-entity operations.

  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and finance transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced, global organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
