As the local expert in digital transformation, you plan and organize cross-functional project teams and develop plans to execute strategies to meet business needs. You use your technical foundation and knowledge of the local strategy to drive digital transformation.
How you will contribute
In collaboration with cross-functional partners, you will help develop and execute the local digitalization agenda and lead initiatives according to agreed priorities. You will help deploy capital digitalization projects, ensuring they stay on budget, with senior supply chain leaders. In addition, you will work with local engineering teams with digitalization projects and topics, monitor project progress during project development and participate in optimization efforts, incorporating feedback learnings for general adaptation for other engineering teams. You will also participate in a digital community of practice, contributing your expertise. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate your knowledge of your technological area of expertise and develop more in-depth technical knowledge and demonstrate your highly refined influencing and presentation skills.

What you need to know about this position:
  • MDLZ Egypt CTOR Site requests Projects engineer with high level of automation background based on industrial solutions allowing autonomous control over production processes, Warehouse inventory management, Process parameters reporting, equipment performance, integrity over quality, productivity and ergonomics improvement.
  • Areas of responsibility:
  • PLC based automation systems, robotic systems, electric drives & motion systems, industrial vision systems, deployment, configuration, testing, and maintenance of automation technology.
  • Supporting regional Engineering and Digitalization team for CTOR plant for related services and projects in production segments.
  • Having ownership over CAPEX projects submission, Design reviews, projects execution, spending over identified scope, timeline, budget and quality.
  • Leading onsite projects execution with excellence over main stake holders and contractor management
  • Meet with vendors & OEMs to identify project deliverables, value, equipment, support, service, technology, project scope, scheduling, performance, documentation, and pricing as required.
  • Coordinates with project team to develop and administer work plan and to develop roles, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Works closely with validation to make sure that all required project documentation is relayed for appropriate project close out and commissioning.
  • Prepare equipment/process layout & P&ID's during the development phase, installation phase, and final equipment & process commissioning and start-up phase.
  • Prepare requests for quotations (RFQ's), and the evaluate offers submitted ensuring the most appropriate cost-effective technical solutions are selected.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (Industrial / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering)
