About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Digital Territory Account Manager to join our growing Digital Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to accelerate their career in enterprise technology sales while working with market-leading AI, application delivery, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth across a defined territory. Working closely with channel partners, sales engineers, marketing, and the wider sales organisation, you will help customers understand how F5 solutions can address their application, security, and business challenges.

This role supports customers and partners across the South German market; therefore, professional fluency in both German and English is essential.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, developing opportunities, and closing business in a collaborative, customer-focused environment. It also offers a clear pathway for career progression within F5’s sales organisation and the opportunity to develop expertise in some of the most exciting areas of enterprise technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and achieve assigned sales targets within a defined territory by developing and executing strategic territory and account plans to grow pipeline and revenue.

  • Identify, prospect, and engage prospective customers and key stakeholders through outbound prospecting, lead generation, account-based selling, and territory engagement activities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with German-speaking customers and channel partners through virtual meetings, presentations, negotiations, and ongoing engagement in both German and English.

  • Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from qualification to contract closure, while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce.

  • Collaborate closely with channel partners, marketing, sales engineering, and leadership teams to generate demand, position F5 solutions effectively, and accelerate sales growth.

  • Deliver compelling customer presentations and value-based sales conversations by understanding customer business objectives and technology challenges.

  • Represent F5 at customer events, industry conferences, webinars, and marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence and create new business opportunities.

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales performance metrics while upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and company standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in technology sales, digital sales, business development, inside sales, or account management, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Professional fluency in German and English, with excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven experience generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, account-based selling, and structured sales processes.

  • Experience selling technology solutions such as SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, AI, or related software and infrastructure technologies is preferred.

  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models to generate pipeline and revenue opportunities.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, forecasting, and pipeline activities using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

  • Customer-focused and self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving, organisational, and collaboration skills, along with a passion for technology and sales.
