The Digital Sales Specialist - Kneat/SaaS Solutions will be responsible for driving sales of our Software as a Service solutions portfolio to new and existing clients around the country by maximizing lead generation and nurturing to drive revenue. This position will be instrumental in scaling CAI’s Digital Enablement solutions business through revenue generation. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in a lead generation role, focused on both outbound engagement and nurturing marketing-generated leads, using solution-based approaches in complex selling environments. The position is a fully remote, US based position with preference given to candidates located in the Boston, San Diego or Raleigh areas.

 

Essential Functions:

· Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through various channels such as cold calling, networking events and digital marketing campaigns sufficient to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.

· Lead with a data-driven mindset, utilizing Salesforce and other tools as needed to monitor and manage outreach. 

· Remain knowledgeable and current on SaaS offerings (Kneat as initial focus) as products and offerings evolve 

· Focus efforts on Small to Mid-Size businesses, new logos and expansion to new sites within existing customer relationships

· Collaborate with Regional Managers and Directors of Client Engagement on strategy and execution of regional growth outreach objectives and priorities to drive revenue. 

· Collaborate with the Marketing and Inside Sales team to execute detailed lead nurturing automation workflows based on engagement, lead scoring, inactive contacts, and win/loss activity to optimize the conversion of leads to opportunities. 

· Build strong relationships with prospective customers through account-based marketing and sales development. 

· Research and leverage data to enrich account data and build out targeted outreach campaigns. 

· Evaluate accounts while speaking with multiple contacts and decision-makers to drive opportunities to proposals and orders.

· Leverage customer relationship management software to manage and monitor account outreach. 

· Collaborate with various stakeholders across marketing and sales to ensure all external communication is consistent with the brand and messaging guidelines. 

· Provide a strong feedback loop to the operations, marketing, and Product Management teams. 

 

Requirements:

· Demand generation, business development, inside sales, and/or sales expertise, with 1+ years of lead generation experience in a Saas company 

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 

· Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and equally impressive project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Understanding of Life Sciences markets and buyer behavior, including the influence of quality and regulatory compliance stakeholders. 

· A great communicator, able to build valuable relationships and demonstrate strong active listening skills. 

· A problem solver who brings fresh, original thinking to company and customer problems. 

· Ability to work autonomously to drive results and prioritize across many stakeholders. 

· Self-motivated with a passion for understanding the customer journey, segmentation, and buyer behavior. 

· Data-driven mindset and strong attention to detail. 

· Goal-oriented, ambitious with a results-driven mentality and motivated to succeed every day. 

· Extremely organized with excellent time management skills. 

· Always curious to learn more, tech-savvy, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience working in a similar role in a global B2B SaaS company in a highly regulated industry such as biopharma, life sciences, medical device, consumer packaged goods, security and defense, or food and beverage is a plus
